Bubblegum Alley

Bubblegum Alley has been a hot favorite since the late 1800's. The popularity of Bubblegum Alley can be attributed to the fact that it was one of the very first salons to open its doors in what is now known as downtown San Luis Obispo. Back then, gum was a luxury item. People would purchase as much as they could and would throw it down on the sidewalk for all of the world to see. It was a big business, and as such, a popular place to find a variety of products including gum. Today, Bubblegum Alley offers a variety of items and services that have made this place a popular tourist destination in the City of San Luis Obispo, CA.

Bubblegum Alley began as a small "smoke shop". Tobacco was sold in abundance and many of the local women learned how to make their own gum from ground sugar and left it on the street for others to purchase. As people began to realize that gum could be more than just a novelty, business boomed. By the early twentieth century, Bubblegum Alley was home to a variety of shops selling everything from bubblegum in a variety of flavors to musical instruments. It even had a gift shop, though this has since been closed due to the decline in the wholesale market for gum.

The gumball fountains at Bubblegum Alley continue to keep people coming back each day. There are also a number of gift shops that sell a variety of gifts and souvenirs inspired by gumball. You can choose from items such as gum ball sunglasses, gumball sunglasses, gum ball purses, and a gum-ball clock. There are even a number of gift shops that sell replica gum balls similar to the ones featured in popular cartoon shows.

While Gumball Alley is no longer as extensive as it once was, there are still quite a number of shops that feature the products. Some of these shops have expanded to include clothing stores, which feature gumballs on their styles. There are also restaurants that feature the gumballs in a number of different styles. In fact, San Luis Obispo is home to four restaurants that serve only gumballs: La Trattoria, Bubblegum Alley, Gingko's Garden, and Papi's.

One of the most popular places in San Luis Obispo to buy gumballs is Papi's. Papi's features everything from sandwiches to pasta to a frozen yogurt station. The yogurt comes from local farmers and is free of artificial flavors or colors. There is also a variety of different flavored jelly beans and yogurts. The yogurts come in a large selection of flavors including one that has a crushed pineapple flavor.

If you want to go to a place where you can pick up a variety of different items, then the San Luis Obispo area has three major malls that include the Miracle Mile, Southland Center, and Sun-Pacific. In addition to offering a wide range of retail stores, the Miracle Mile offers several gift shops. These gift shops include such notable gift shops as Jamba Juice, Babies R Us, and Vitamin Water. The other two malls are home to huge retailers like Best Buy, Circuit City, and CompUSA. In San Luis Obispo you can find a large number of different gift stores, including some that specialize in gumball machines.
